Plenty of opportunities exist for skiing off-piste near the ski areas at Lake Louise and Sunshine Village near Banff. Runs are accessed by chairlift and perhaps a short boot hike or skin track. Touring equipment is not always necessary. Whether you are interested in a quiet walk through the woods or want to hit some powder skiing, there is always a good trip to be done.
Private guiding excursions are available all winter.
Season: Best from February through April. Some optio ns available in December and January.
