Glacier Travel Course
This two day course is held at the Columbia Icefields where we can easily access snow slopes and glaciated terrain to practice our mountaineering skills.
On day one we will practice crevasse rescue skills. This includes how to rope up for the glacier and different options for team crevasse rescue.
Traveling across the glacier
On day 2 we will head to a glacier and learn about where crevasses form, how to avoid them, and how to use the rope to safeguard ourselves.
